SCRUBS & CLEANSERS

LUSH| DARK ANGELS - $16.95
For those of you who suffer from oily skin, do yourself a favour and get a tub of Dark Angels Charcoal Cleanser. It's a total game changer. 'Rhassoul mud, charcoal and black sugar combine to create a very absorbent and exfoliating cleanser.' Even if you have drier skin like me, using this once a week is a great way to detoxify, cleanse and lightly hydrate. Just take a pinch, add water and scrub away.

SUKIN| REVITALISING FACIAL SCRUB - $5.97
I am a fan of anything in the Sukin range but this revitalising facial scrub definitely takes first place. With the results it yields, I don't know how it is so ridiculously cheap. This scrub is far gentler than Dark Angels, using non-abrasive micro particles of bamboo extract. Bamboo is rich in silica, helping your skin absorb the nutrients you need. It also contains aloe vera, rose hip and chamomile to soothe the skin. Using this a few times a week will leave your skin softer than ever.

TONERS

T.N DICKINSON| WITCH HAZEL - $6.95
I usually can't be bothered to use toner - it never really seemed to make a visible difference and it's just one more step in an already lengthy skincare regime. That was until I discovered the amazing properties of Witch Hazel - it's definitely worth the extra 30 seconds to apply. Extracts of the Witch Hazel are a natural astringent, soothing skin inflammation and smoothing pores for better makeup performance. Say goodbye to blotchy skin and puffy eyes.

MASKS

FORMULA 10.0.6| GET YOUR GLOW ON- $8.99
As opposed to others in the Formula 10.0.6 range, this mask tends to be a bit time consuming but I promise you it's worth every second. With Vitamin C infused citrus ingredients it will revitalise and brighten tired skin. Apply with warm water, wait for it to tighten and then peel it off - this is the time consuming part as it really sticks to your skin. The good part is - it takes all those dead skin cells and blocked pores right along with it!

INECTO| COCONUT MILK MASK
Last but not least - after all that cleansing, exfoliating and toning, you want to put a bit of moisture back into your skin.  In just 10 minutes, this mask will leave your skin feeling soft, refreshed and hydrated. As I have dry skin, I have tried plenty of hydrating products but have yet to find something as long lasting as this. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I bought this but if you find it, buy it - your skin will thank you.

EXTRA TIPS FOR THE NATURAL GLOW

  • Exercise, Sleep and Water are vital ingredients for brighter skin
  • Don't exfoliate every day, give your skin a chance to regenerate
  • Cleanse twice - once for your makeup and once for your bare skin
  • Keep up a good routine
  • Have a break from makeup - let your skin breath
  • Don't be rough - when applying product to your face, massage gently in a circular motion - this also stimulates blood flow for brighter looking skin
